Daniel studied drama at the Australian Theatre for Young People and The Actors Centre, specialising in voice, mime and movement, improvisation and acting technique. He started performing with Sydney Theatresports® at the Belvoir St theatre in 1987. In 1989 he took part in the first International Improvisation Summer School with Keith Johnstone in Calgary, Canada. While overseas he worked with companies in Vancouver, Montreal, New York, and Amsterdam. He performs regularly in the Theatresports® Cranston Cup at the Enmore Theatre. Daniel has been performing in shows and teaching improvisation/drama workshops in Australian schools and universities since 1991.
Daniel played on the Australian team that won the 2001 Improv World Cup at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, Canada. He also represented Australia in a solo effort, at the World Domination Theatresports® tournament in Atlanta, USA.
Recently Daniel worked on the ABC TV series The Chaser Decides and CNNNN, as well as channel Sevens' Home & Away. Other TV and film credits include the children's series Winners and the feature film Dags. He has appeared in many stage productions, including Shakespeares' Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet, Steve Berkoff's Lunch, Sam Shepard's Action, Dario Fo's Accidental Death of an Anarchist and in the 2004 Short and Sweet theatre festival. He also hosts corporate events and is a regular performer at the Art Gallery of NSW. Daniel is a director of Open Stage Productions.
Monique has been presenting Theatresports® performances and workshops in schools throughout Australia for over ten years. She started her improvising career at Belvoir St. and Enmore Theatres. She has studied drama and acting technique with the Rocks Players, Actors Centre and Shakespeare and Company in the United States where her studies included Shakespeare, voice, movement, stage fighting and Elizabethan dancing. She has also studied improvisation and worked with Keith Johnstone in Canada.
Monique has appeared in many stage productions including The Merry Wives Of Windsor, The Gentlemen of Verona, Impro at the Comedy Store at Fox Studios and in the 2004 Short and Sweet Theatre Festival. Monique has recently worked on television shows The Chaser Decides and All Saints.
Monique's work also includes corporate events performances and training. She performs regularly at the Art Gallery of NSW as part of the Public Programs and has conducted in service training courses for volunteer guides. She holds a communications degree and has worked as a writer and editor. Monique is a director of Open Stage Productions.
